San Diego, CA. May 18, 2022 – Physician Transaction Advisors is pleased to announce that its client, the Minimally Invasive Surgery Center of New Hampshire (“MISCNE”), has entered into a joint venture with a leading national provider of Musculoskeletal Services. MISNE is located in Bedford, New Hampshire and joins USPI, the nation’s largest ambulatory surgical center platform.
MISCNE is a group of high-quality physician-owners including surgeons, interventional physiatrists and pain specialists assisted by an excellent group of anesthesiologists who perform Ortho, Spine, Neurosurgery, and Pain procedures. Their beautiful state-of-art surgery center has two operating rooms and six pre and post-op stations and serves patients from Southern New Hampshire.
“Our partners mission of providing quality, affordable and compassionate care to its patients resonated with us, it was the basis on which we founded MISCNE,” states Dr. Neal Luther, Medical Director. “As an organization we felt that we would best be able to realize our goals by partnering with an organization that would support our growth initiative and provide us with the clinical, operational and business support that we feel is imperative as we move forward.”
Physician Transaction Advisors Managing Partner Jim Freund, who has been advising ASC and practice owners and executives for more than 30 years, managed the process. “Once engaged we marketed the center to more than a dozen of the most qualified and likely prospective partners, this gave the physician-owners the ability to interview and meet with the best candidates and at the same time we negotiated the financial terms with each, ultimately providing the physician-owners with all the information that they needed to make an informed decision and as a result they moved forward with the best possible partner for their center.”
“We selected Physician Transaction Advisors because they had extensive experience in similar transactions, had an excellent reputation and their approach ensured our group that there was no obligation on our part to complete a transaction unless we found the right partner,” added Dr. Luther. “We were beyond pleased with the end result.”
